This weeks donations...

As mentioned in our ‘A Good Thing’ blog post, we have partnered up with the charity which connects businesses with charities in order to donate their product to where needs it most.

Since this post was published we have made donations to 7 different charities across the UK.

We have donated twenty-five 250ml peach sanitiser gels to Battersea Brownies. Brownies are the section in the Girl Guides organisation for girls aged seven to ten years old where the girls are introduced to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun including camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. Our peach gels will be used throughout their Battersea unit.

Another twenty-five 250ml peach sanitiser gels have been donated to Cardiomyopathy UK who will be using the donation for an upcoming reception and conference. The charity is for cardiomyopathy which is a disease of the heart muscle. It is a group of conditions that affect the structure of the heart which reduces its ability to pump blood around the body. Around 1 in 250 people in the UK are affected which is about 160,000 people.

A gift set of six mini gels has been donated to Home-Start Kernow. This charity offers free, confidential support, friendship and practical help to parents of children under five in Cornwall who are going through a difficult time. Our mini gels will be given to the volunteers to take on the go for home visits.

We have donated a gift set of six mini gels to Response Community Projects. Response is a community based centre that serves the needs of the communities most vulnerable individuals while also offering a range of classes designed to increase educational attainment and general well being.

Twelve 500ml lavender hand sanitiser gels have been donated to Princes Risborough Centre. The centre caters for three separate groups; elderly people who might be isolated, lonely or whose carers might need a break. Adults with mild or moderate learning disabilities as well as those with mental health difficulties. Their aim is to provide the best personal day care service and to maintain and enhance the quality of life and well-being of others, enhancing their potential to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible.

We have donated twenty 60ml oud mini gels to Communities First Wessex. This charity enables individuals and local groups to be the difference they want to see in their local communities. They achieve this through connecting and engaging with the community, identifying where essential services could make a difference to peoples’ lives and facilitating this through the actions of dedicated individuals and organisations. Our mini gels are great to encourage those coming in and out of the centre to keep sanitising.

A box of six 500ml oud gels and one 5L lemongrass and sandalwood gel has been donated to Lifted Carers Centre. Lifted elevate parent-carers of children and adults with special learning needs. They are a user-led organisation that strives to make a positive difference and improve the health and wellbeing of carers using the service. They offer one-to-one support, guidance, advocacy and assistance with completing forms, among many other things.
