How to Avoid Dry Hands During the Colder Season...

With it getting closer and closer to the colder months ahead, dry hands are something that many struggle with at this time of year. Dry hands are caused by environmental factors such as weather conditions. We wanted to share with you our tips and tricks for you to try at home.

1. Moisturise

This is probably the most obvious, but spending the money on a luxurious hand cream or lotion is worth every penny. Our hand lotion comes in 3 different scents, Aloe & Cucumber, Sandalwood & Lemongrass and Our Noir. If you wanted to opt for a thicker moisturiser, our Lavender Hand Cream is the perfect one for you. These lotions and creams help restore moisture and seal it back into the skin.

2. Wear gloves

If you are someone working with your hands on a daily basis where your hands are frequently immersed in water, such as washing dishes, gloves help prevent the water from stripping your skin of its natural oils.

3. Treat them overnight

One of the best remedies for dry hands is to slather them at night with lotion or petroleum-based moisturiser, such as vaseline. After, cover your hands with a pair of soft gloves or socks. Trapping the moisturiser with help it absorbs more fully into your skin.

4. Apply aloe vera

Aloe vera is a common ingredient in many skin products due to its antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe vera is available over the counter, and it can be applied to the skin as a natural, safe moisturiser.
